SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS FOR PRE-1978 HOMES If your home was built before 1978, your home likely contains lead-based paint. Exposure to lead can be very harmful, particularly to children and even your pets. Special precautions must be taken to minimize this risk when re-painting your home's exterior, as normal preparation procedures disturb the old paint. Most importantly, contractors working on lead-paint homes must be certified to perform such projects. Perennial Painting, LLC is State of Washington RRP Certified, and has all of the necessary equipment and expertise to perform lead-safe work practices on your home.
